ANAESTHESIA
Every patient wishes not to have any pains and to feel nothing
during a surgery. The memory of the surgery shall be pleasant. It is
the task and aim of the anaesthesia to fulfil this.
Anaesthesia allows a variety of surgeries today and contributes to
a course of the surgery under a specialist leadership, which is free
from
complications. Although this fact is conscious to every patient most
are, however, afraid of anaesthesia and surgery.
It is one of the most important tasks to take this fear away from you.
Technological progress in the supervision of the patient during the
anaesthesia, a constant improvement in the used medicine as well
as the long-standing
experience of the serving medical specialists for anesthesiology
offer a maximum amount of safety.
In a detailed conversation before the
anaesthesia your anaesthetist consults you about the different possibilities
of switching off the
pain and/or
consciousness, catches up on your state of health, and informs
you about the course of anaesthesia and surgery. During this conversation
additional
preliminary examinations can be administered to minimise the risk
of anaesthesia further, which is in principle low.
Dependant on
the type of the surgery your anaesthetist offers you different possibilities
from the dusk sleep similar condition (sedation) up to the full
anaesthesia.
All methods can be carried out both ambulatorily and stationarily.
Advantages and disadvantages of an ambulatory or stationary treatment
are always
discussed individually since they are dependent on the type of
the surgery, the after-surgery pain therapy as well as the care
necessities
and possibilities.
For the multitude of surgeries a stay in hospital
with accommodation is no longer required, on request however any
time possible.
We promise you by consideration of your wishes and needs that
you
experience
the planned surgery in pleasant atmosphere.
Our team of anaesthetists
and specialist nursing staff will take care of you and your well-being
before, during and after
the
surgery.
Do not by shy of asking all questions which are close
to your heart.
