A good mutual trust between surgeon and patient, thereon we set value,
and our patients feel it as very pleasant.
To this we must get known exactly to each other.
From the view of the patient all questions must be clarified during the
consultation and developing of the anamnesis.
The patient should explain his wish and his expectations exactly. The
doctor must know whether other surgeons were already consulted before
or whether even a pre-surgery has taken place.
The surgeon judges the beauty flaw, checks the tissue and explains what
lies in the area of the possibility and how big the effort is.
It is demonstrated for the patient with photos, which are prepared in
the own studio, with which result he may calculate.
Risks or possible complications, which can be associated to the surgery,
must be discussed in detail.
To this the surgeon must know whether and which basic illnesses exist,
which illnesses the patient has gone through in the past, and which medicine
he takes perhaps. The consumption of alcohol and cigarettes may not be
concealed.
When the planned surgery is fixed exactly, the information about the
anaesthesia, the type of anaesthesia, the duration of the perhaps stationary
stay, and the after-care takes place.
The patient gets a detailed cost estimate about the planned surgery.
It is important that the agreement is only then signed when all questions
have been cleared in detail.
Every successful plastic surgeon experienced, that his patients lead
