Conspicuously distant ears are a giant problem for children particulary
if they are teased or excluded from playing.
As of the 5th year of life the auricle grows no longer strongly so that
the ears can be tied up already in the pre-school age by a surgery. The
size, form and position can be changed at the ear adjustment.
The ear cartilage is remodeled by scoring, cut, and suture technique.
Distand ears get tied up, big ears get diminished, and earlaps get adjusted
if necessary. Since the cut proceeds at the back of the ear no visible
cicatrices remain here either.
